Alcohol/Substance Abuse - Alcohol/drug use is so occasional that it harms daily life (e.g leads to arrest).
Alcohol/Substance Dependence - A strong need for alcohol/substance and withdrawal without the dependant.
Anorexia Nervosa - Terrified of gaining weight this can lead to not eating any food and drastic weight loss occurs.

Binge Eating - Eating a large amount of food, then feeling guilty, a lack of control is evident. Eating quickly, out alone, when not hungry or to the point of discomfort.
Bulimia Nervosa - Consuming large amounts of food and then get rid of it. This can include: vomiting, refusing to eat, abusing laxatives (or similar drugs) or exercising obsessively.

Pathological Gambling - persistent gambling that is hard to resist.
- a person may often think of gambling
- the stakes rise every time so that the gambler continues to feel a rush
- loosing control of the urge to gamble
- being withdrawn and irritable when not gambling
- using gambling to escape from the real world
- lying about how often they gamble
- committing crime to fund their gambling
- using friends and family to bail them out when money is tough due to it being lost in a game
- relationships suffer as a result (work or personal)

Trichotillomania - constant pulling at your hair and this can result in noticeable hair loss. A person may feel tense before pulling out the hair or when trying to resist the urges. A person then feels happy after pulling out the hair.
